Climate Change: Learning through the School Average

Project summary

 

Climate@EduMedia is a project that seeks innovative approaches to teaching and learning of contents linked to climate change, specifically in the areas of mitigation and adaptation.

 

Using the network of newspapers, TV's and radios, develops a transdisciplinary learning strategy through the media. By creating communicative materials (video, a radio program, infographics or press kit), students will be able to grasp the material, thinking about adaptation and mitigation solutions to their schools and cities and communicate and share their ideas on climate change for the world.

 

The project involves various activities such as training for the use of media for communication of science, the development of educational materials, workshops and collaborative laboratories content production, the promotion of an online platform for sharing current experiences in several schools and finally a final competition for schools present the best ideas for mitigation and adaptation of climate change.
