Project purpose
ClimAdaPT.Local implementation of the project as specified in the application ad contest "Adaptation at the local level" and the application submitted in this context by FFCUL and approved by the APA.
The overall objective specified in the tender is to improve the ability of Portuguese municipalities to incorporate climate change adaptation into their planning instruments and their spaces.
As specified specific objectives have: the formation of local authorities technicians, the creation and maintenance of a technical support service to adapt to climate change, the development of local adaptation strategies to climate change in pilot municipalities, and the development lines guiding the integration of adaptation to climate change in municipal planning.
